5. Was that the guy I caught talking about males on disability
in Sweden. He claimed there was a disproportionately high percentage because they were gaming the system. If that was the guy, he lost me too. I basically turn off anyone that says "Obama Care".
If a conservative has any real ideas on health care reform that will actually help all of us I'll listen. Maybe that will happen some day.

4. All the "Politically Incorrect Guides" are BS.
My teabagging brother bought one they have about the South.. it's full of lies and propaganda. "Incorrect" is the right term to describe them.

6. Regnery is a vanity house for arch-right/corporatist agitprop.
There isn't a book they put out that isn't either revisionist crapola or borderline hate speech.

11. Yep. They may sell themselves as being not "politically correct" but...
...they're not particularly concerned with being "factually correct".

Except the OP.

Oh, wait, never mind, reread the first two posts for comprehension. Sorry guys. Anyway...

Note how every one of those points apply to capitalism.

That is where the non-paid non-rich tea baggers come from. They know that there is something dreadfully wrong, and they even have some sort of idea of what it is that's wrong.

The fascists take that anger, mix in a little truth with their propaganda, and tell people that the solution is the problem and direct that anger away from them and towards their enemies, the people who are trying to fix their mess.

Now, realize how angry a lot of the tea baggers are. How willing they are to fight. Imagine that energy on our side.

It's going to come to a revolution. I would suggest that we try to get to these people before that happens, before they end up like Gaddafi's men, killing Libyan freedom fighters because they've been told that Al Qaeda is invading. I'd much rather have them on our side, being organized into peaceful civil disobedience.

9. From one of the One Star reviews at Amazon:
The author spends an entire chapter trying to cast doubt on the Swedish model of socialism, which is filled with enough lies to warm the heart of any budding fascists out there. It's funny how conservatives attack "socialism" for dragging down U.S. businesses, never mind that U.S. corporations are more profitable now than before the recession! <...>

In fact countries with overtly socialist politics (unlike here in the U.S. where we don't have a functional socialist party) do pretty well for themselves. For example, Sweden just beat out the United States in the most recent World Economic Forum's Global Competitiveness Report. <...> And on top of that, Sweden has a higher credit rating than the U.S. -- in fact, American can't even crack the top 10! <...> Back in 2008 the U.S. was ranked 14th alongside neoliberal Ireland.... Ireland ain't doin so well now, but I'm sure the U.S. will bounce back! Maybe it's cuz the U.S. gov't spends so much of its money invading and occupying other countries? Just sayin'.

I didn't read any of the other chapters, but if they're as full of snarky canards and bald-faced lies, I'm sure the false friends of freedom will delight in reading them. When you people have your fascist Tea Party government, you may find out it's not as dandy as you thought it was going to be. By the way, make sure to lecture the Egyptians who are being oppressed with U.S.-funded military might about freedom while you're at it! : )

12. That poster is also owning the wingnut defenders of this tripe in the comments section.
Amazing that people will go out of their way to defend a completely flawed and obviously failed system.

10. The right and the gop have erased the word 'liberal' from the political
spectrum, labeled Obama as socialist and now they will destroy the very thought of socialism (which any government intervention will be called, except for the police and the military).
