Texas Governor, Rick "Secede" Perry asks for federal government assistance

Authorities have responded to 7,807 fires across more than 1.5 million acres since this year's wildfire season began, Gov. Rick Perry wrote in a letter late Saturday to President Barack Obama requesting that the federal government declare Texas a disaster area.

This would be a perfect time for the President to tell Perry to pick his state up by his conservative bootstraps or to just piss off. (my vote is for piss off) Rick Perry is a typical republican. They bitch and moan about the government until they need the help of the government. I see it everyday at work. So called "conservatives" yelling and screaming about tax cuts then being the first in line to cash their government paychecks.
