Scott Walker Turned Wisconsin Blue Again !!
Edited on Thu Apr-21-11 07:54 PM by Scuba
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26315908/ns/msnbc_tv-rachel_maddow_show/#42692692

Rachel Maddow shows how much of Wisconsin shifted toward the Dems in the April 5th State Supreme Court election, and - this part is sweet - just where the four Republican State Senators being recalled are from. Note: papers have now been filed to force a recall election for a fifth Republican, Alberta Darling, from Menomonee Falls (northwest Milwaukee burb).

This shot shows how much "bluer" the state got between Walker's election in November, 2010 and April 5, 2011

This shot shows where Olson, Kapanke, Hopper and Harsdorf are from. Papers have been filed to force each of these four (plus Darling) to face a recall election.

I can smell the toast now.

(edited for clarity)

2. Kapanke's district. LaCrosse has a great blue collar tradition. I met...
...several LaCrosse area folks up on the Square in Madison this spring.

3. I Am Hoping For The TEA Partyers To Be Poured Out, BUT
From your keyboard to G*d's monitor. Personally, I am hopeful that the TEA Partyers will be poured out on their backsides, but I don't intend to run my victory laps until I see the willains CRUSHED by their Democratic opponents.

5. Most of the hype and activity was on the Dem side-and the
work-at least from the people I surround myself with. I have to admit that I -and a whole lot of others were rather surprised to find out so many of the Repugs/teaparty folks turned out also. But it is wonderful to see the shifts (from red to blue). Lots of purpishish blue in the landscape.

6. This seems a silly claim
since we lost (well, not actually, but close enough to steal). We need to stop clinging to easily refutable starry-eyed stuff like this. Prosser's still in office.
