Every day is Earth day. I can't seem to remember living anywhere else. :hi:

6. I went to a Michelle Shocked concert on Earth Day some years ago

(along with Poy Dog Pondering and a couple other bands)


and for her last number she did a nice little rendition of "Happy Birthday To You" with the lyrics of "Happy Earth Day To You". Sung to a little green and blue planet in the unfashionable section of the galaxy.


I reflect on it every year about now.

Just thought I would share, it is one of those quiet yet happy little memories that stick with you.

Don't ask me to remember any other song I heard that night, those faded long ago.
