Gas is to jump to $5.00 gallon by Memorial Day. Obama said "get used to it and trade your car in for an energy efficient car". With unemployment above 10% in many states, Can YOU afford a trade in? RE-POST if you want Obama to "GET USED" to being a one-term President!!!!

Seriously, the Faux Faithful drive me insane!@!

1. I doubt Obama said that
Edited on Fri Apr-22-11 11:13 AM by notadmblnd
Do you have a direct link to the quote? if not, I'd advise you to self delete.

on edit: I see what you meant. Why did you feel it necessary to post it here? My advice still stands.

2. Simple solution: Stay away from Facebook.
I only log in about once a month (sometimes longer) and only to see if any of my old friends from 30+ years ago are trying to contact me.

10. So the solution is to ignore the problem, rather than correct it?
Yeah, let's ignore a social media site that helps get information out there. REAL smart move.... :eyes:

13. If you think of it that way, then it controls you. Consider it your tool and you are in control.
You don't have to get out the cheese grater every time you enter the kitchen, but when you need to grate cheese there's no better tool. The same is true for a garlic press.

Facebook is just a tool - nothing more. My wife has a friend from high school (over 30 years ago) who has been through 4 husbands and is well enough off that she seemingly spends all day playing Farmville, or whatever the hell it is called, and clutters the Facebook universe with lost animals and other such bullshit. That's really sad.

For the record, DU is just a tool too.

15. I've upset some friends and family members asking them to verify what they happily repeat.
I've heard so many crackpot accusations and things against Mr. Obama and Democrats on Facebook, I can't even keep track of them all.

5. Counter it
Explain how it's actually the oil speculators and the oil companies that are responsible, plus the very nature of oil as a non-renewable resource.

You may also want to explain how corporations and right wing policies are responsible for the unemployment and low income.

6. Why don't you explain how it's the oil speculators and oil companies
that are responsible? This ought to be interesting.

8. Counter it and put the blame on republicans de-regulating the crap out of everything
You'll be surprised how people will agree with YOU much faster than that garbage.

12. Prices were higher in 2008...who was president then?
And, at the time Repubs were saying that the president had no control over it.
