The victim explains in the video that she was accused of talking to one of the girl's "man", then spat on. The victim's sexual orientation is being exploited as an "excuse" for the attack.

I would have no negative reaction whatsoever of using a stall next to a transgender or a lesbian. ALL women generally want to just do their business & get out.

I get that you're fuzzy on the TG thing. See... some people are wired up as women, despite male hormones and genitalia. Sexual identity doesn't entirely have to do with whether one has a penis or not, it has to do with a million other factors. Sexual identity is far more complex than 'male/female'. It's not black and white at all.

In this case, someone is in every way a woman except physically- which is actually the smallest part of sexual identity.

The people that believe a penis is the be-all and end-all of sexual identity are failing to grasp a universe of realization. Stick around, and some things might just dawn on you.

On this topic my daughter is 16, last year at her high school she reported that some "guys" were using the women's bathrooms.

Initially I thought Ok, geez WTH?

Turns out they are afraid to use the men's restrooms, now maybe they are transgendered (I have no idea nor does she)She and her friends really were not all that up in arms about it, just wanted to know why "guys" were using their bathroom.

Real simple solution..scatter unisex bathrooms, like they do handicapped equipped single stall units around...and everyone is happy (and with that said I am not trying to disparage the handicapped, or transgendered people, because I know someone will jump on this as me insulting one of the two, or both)

Frankly the whole multiple stall thing is kind of unseemly anyways, esp for kids--JMO

and bars with unisex bathrooms. Some even had urinals in them. They never caused issues. Women (and shy men) use cubicles so what is the problem?

It seemed odd that the emphasis was put on the victim's sexual orientation, but I see now that this was put out there as an attempt to somehow justify the attack.

The reason for the attack was jealousy -- the victim had been approached by one of the girl's "man" before the victim walked into the restroom. The girl spit in the victim's face, the victim didn't understand where the anger was coming from since she didn't know the male (he might have been the one who told the victim on her way to the restroom that she needed to buy something first), then came the physical attack.

It's further disgusting that she's being further victimized by having her sexual orientation used as a deflection from their deplorable action.
