3. Romney signed a bill similar to Obama's HCR program. He's dead.
At this point the strongest candidate is Huckabee and he's got so much baggage he's probably got "Samsonite" tattooed across his ass.

6. And 'Mormon' is a killer with the 'vangies. BTW...
Love your 'Samsonite' metaphor, or whatever you call it.
Spot on!

29. short chubby guys don't do well on TV, and standing next to a tall thin guy
it gets worse

All the candidates have fatal flaws. Romney can bring Michigan into play (because of his father) as well as some western states and maybe even force more spending in MA and surrounding states, so I give him the nod. I don't see Huckabee playing anywhere but in the south and the dark red plain states.

14. Yes, he would attract independents and
if Nader is his running mate, could attract progressives as well. Not a bad thing if it moves Obama considerably to the left in order to hold onto his base.

11. The ex-Gov, ex-Ambassador to China who Obama appointed to that post
Of course that is among the many reasons he won't get the nomination, but he would match up best.

i think Huckabee would come across personally well which might make the things we can use against him not as effective.

21. I don't think the final opponent has been identified yet. I agree that
the person will end up 'drafted' by the Repubs, but I have no idea who it might be.

25. Huckabees Squirrels were not fried, he cooked them in a popcorn popper, he couldn't have fried
Squirrel, because he was on a diet and fried squirrel has many more calories and fat than popped squirrel. I personally think a squirrel would make a better opponent than Huckabee. Besides, who would vote for a man, who blocked investigations into his son David and a friends, hanging of a dog by the neck, slitting the dogs throat, and finally, stoning the poor hanging dog to death? What kind of man would block the prosecution of such a horrible act? What kind of man, after the fact, would fire the head of the state police who "did not help Huckabee with "that" problem he had with his son?" So, I'd vote for Obama, but it would be close if there were a Republican squirrel running against him, because for me, a squirrel even a Republican one would have more integrity, more compassion, more honesty than any former governor (Fox/Gop) bloviator, Mike Huckabee and his Klan of Huckabees will ever have.
