Edited on Mon Apr-25-11 10:19 PM by AsahinaKimi

Two female members of the Self-Defense Forces (SDF) listen to children at an evacuation shelter in Otsuchi, Iwate Prefecture, on April 25, 2011. For around two hours, in order to help evacuees at the shelter lessen their stress and worries, four nurses and counselors from the SDF and four volunteers from Morioka went around the shelter serving food and drinks and giving children and the elderly someone to talk to. One 72-year-old woman at the shelter smiled and said that she felt a little better after talking to the visitors. (Mainichi)

4. Thanks for posting. I feel so sorry for all the victims in Japan. I can't
imagine the strength that will be required to just move on with their lives.
