Tomorrow, I am taking 4 young minds to see Government in action
They get to serve as pages on the senate floor! I can not wait to see them take it all in!

2. In 1999 We took a trip to Washington DC
At the time my aunt worked for our Representative and we got a personal tour of the capital building. Did you know they have a tram that runs from their offices across the street to the capital? I didn't but I got to ride it, I just wish I could remember if we saw anyone I would recognize now. lol

3. I have been on that tram twice!
I wish I had the money to take them to DC I know many of them would love it. IT is a fabulous trip!

I thought I was special because I got to ride the tram, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised on a website dedicated to intelligent people. I bet very few tea baggers know about it. I wonder if they told the baggers in Congress about it? lol

6. getting inside the WH would be something
both times I went to DC the idiot son was pres. first time we didn't even get close to the WH lawn. At least the second time we got to the iron fence

8. I didn't get to go in the White House because
we didn't realize you could get tickets before hand, and you had to get in line at 6 am to guarantee tickets and we didn't think it was worth it.

13. and we have been invited by another state Sen to stop in and say hello
I can't wait for them to see the actual Capitol. Many have not seen much outside their neighborhood
