I just heard that Phoebe Snow has passed away.

I dearly loved her first album (1974), especially Poetry Man and Harpo's Blues. She was only 60.

5. Thanks. Even better, I will fire up the old turntable and play the original LP I bought back then.
The original Shelter LP I purchased when it first came out still beats my CD. Of course, I don't use a regular turntable that most DUers would be familiar with. Also took great care to keep the albums clean and noise free even back then.

Phoebe gave up her career to take care of her brain damaged daughter for 31 years. So sad.

3. Aw, geez, I walked down the aisle to her voice.
That makes me sad.

6. Kick for the late night crowd.
She was so good back in the day and gave up her career to take care of her brain damaged daughter.
