new wingnut attack on Obama birth certificate "issue"
WackoNutDaily (I decline to provide the link, everyone knows it) now says that it has always been "understood" that "natural born citizen" means that *both* parents were US citizens, and that today's birth certificate release proves that Obama is not eligible because his father was not a US citizen. WND just keeps getting more and more stupid.

1. The 14th Amendment says...
"“ Section 1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."

Of course, facts don't get in the way of these fucktards.

I had one nutjob today ... I just couldn't let the stupid go by unchallenged ...

I pointed out to him that "there are some people who will not accept anything as proof".

He pointed out that Obama should have just released his B.C. (not "long form", just the BC ...)

I told him that he (the nut) couldn't produce his birth certificate.

He said he could.

I said, "No, you can't produce your original!"

He said "I can produce a certified copy!"

(at this point, I know it's stupid to argue with the stupids, but ...)

I pointed out "And you wouldn't accept that!"

He lied, saying "Yes I would!" (No you wouldn't, yes I would, repeat multiple times).

He said "You can go to X county and look it up."

I pointed out "The REPUBLICAN GOVERNOR OF HAWAII HAS SAID IT WAS THERE!"

He still fought tooth and nail for his fantasy world.

All the birthers were/are demanding "THE ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE" ... this person would only have had a "copy" of his ... and he was expecting ME to go to the county office where his was on file to prove he was born there ... but he expected millions of people to get in line and flood the office in Hawaii to see it ... actually, he probably wouldn't expect that, he's circumvented the hundreds of years of our legal system ... where the accuser has to provide the proof of the accusation, not the accused having to provide the proof ...

8. Looks like they are end-running the constitution to usurp a president during wartime.
Why do I suspect the teabag crowd would be screaming "liberal traitors" by now if the situation were reversed?
