Can someone fully explain what people mean when they talk about "democratic socialism"!

I've heard numerous explanations and examples but none of them seem to match up. I've heard some say it's what France and Denmark currently have. I've heard some others say that its what Venezuela and Zimbabwe currently have. I've also heard that it has not currently been enacted in any government. Can someone please explain!?

Cajun here! I'm interested in getting involved in this website! I don't know how this introduction works out. My hobbies include hunting and fishing. My first election that I was able to vote in was the 2015 Louisiana gubinetorial election where John Bell Edwards beat sleazebag David Vitter! Since then its been a bumpy ride every election!
