I can't say the same for human coastal cities though:

Russia exported Fear and Division to the US & now Russia is drowning in them
Konstantin Samoilov speaking for himself only from inside southern Russia August 7 2022.
I wonder if people felt like this in 1933 in Germany.
Fear is growing since February 24.
The purges are coming in waves.
Friends are turning each other in.
More aggression in public.
Distrust in public.
More black and white thinking.
Fear of using blue accidentally with yellow.
Every day is like before a boxing match.
It's more intense every day.
His "phony prayer" 😓 at the end is so truthful, sad, and raw 🙏
Apotheosis of the Russian Empire
Florida Rep. Joe Harding is a shithead
I put nothing past these scumbags. They would take a potentially traumatized child and rip away all trust for the only people they may have any connection left to: their teachers.

Social media 'influencer' charged with spreading 2016 election disinformation.
We need more of these arrests! Our russian-influenced president that set the country on fire with words and decrees is temporarily muzzled and still needs to be banned from office. Disinformation from russia didn't end with the occupation of our Capital.
This 'influencer' committed election fraud by using the media to spread disinformation that is dangerous to democracy and freedom. Just words and Free speech? No. Yelling fire in a crowded room isn't. Harming the election is eventually harmful to everyone. Spreading disinformation within our own industry is suicide for America. That path ends in D I S A S T E R not democracy.

The charges: The FBI arrested Douglass Mackey, known as Ricky Vaughn, on accusations of conspiring to deprive individuals of their right to vote through coordinated use of social media to spread disinformation, according to a complaint filed in the Eastern District of New York.
Mackey, according to a 2018 HuffPost report, is a prominent pro-Trump online troll with ties to the white nationalist movement.
How the lies spread: According to the complaint, Mackey and several unnamed co-conspirators sought to stoke confusion about the voting process by claiming on social media that supporters of one of the two major presidential candidates could vote by posting online or texting.
I love taking away the rights edge policies by using their own logic against them.
To bad the left is too conservative to do it.
START calling defense spending nondiscretionary!
Nearly everyone agrees that we should have some sort of minimum military always capability aka spending, say 500 billion. Therefore it is non-discretionary.
It also helps put the already paid for nondiscretionary social security and Medicare spending in better perspective.
Now let the right attack the "baked in" (their words) non-discretionary spending.
The cross party policy that everyone is ignoring
Support harsh mandatory minimum sentences for white-collar criminals.
Given the current political climate I really think strongly supporting this would get cross-party votes.
If a guy who steals $100 in quarters is getting the same sentence that Paul Manafort did for tax evasion involving millions of dollars don't you think that requiring most white collar criminals whose crimes involved over a certain amount should have a mandatory minimum sentence?
And of course the current political climate won't last. So this is our best chance to get it passed? And once passed, in the future is it likely to be a platform for both the right and the left to agree to eliminate all mandatory minimum sentences?
Currently there is a relatively narrow set of crimes that meet minimum sentencing criteria compared to blue collar crimes.
Imagine trying to argue against that in the current political climate during a debate. Good luck. I think this would also help take the edge off of Joe Biden's past remarks regarding harsh minimum sentences for blue collar criminals, if he supported it.
I hadn't signed on in weeks because of a family crisis
so it really means everything whoever gave me that in my extended absence thank you so very much. You Rock!!!
History will judge the Republican Senators the harshest of all.
The GOP repeatedly failed in their responsibility to stop Trump. Instead of protecting the American public from Putin's agenda, they focused the entirety of their two years of complete majority on a feeding frenzy for the right wing of the party. Owned like slaves by the richest of their contributors - the billionaire class.
Republican Senators saw many warnings and evidence of crimes and instead actively worked to cover them up because their billionaire Masters wanted them to.
The public was not served while the billionaire class was obeyed by the Senate.
There is no excuse for the elected GOP Senators to fail so completely in protecting and serving the people.
The result is that the judicial branch had to clean up a huge mess, and jurors - American Patriots - are sacrificing months of their lives serving on grand juries because Republican senators care more about their seats than they do their oaths to the Constitution.
Republican senators care more about their billionaires than they care about the integrity of the election for President of the USA. They care more about personal power than they care about the best interests of the voters that put them there.
History will judge the Republican Senators the harshest of all.
