Off to Death Valley next week-I'm driving!

Hey everyone,

I always post photos from my trips and I'll be doing another next week. Except I am not flying. I usually fly into Las Vegas but I am not risking it this time! I added a day to my trip to account for driving with a nice stop each way in Gallup NM. I haven't driven to the desert in 14 years.

There are no cons, I can use my travel funds for another trip and the pros are immense.

1. I am completely in control of my environment. I won't be in an airport here at home or Las Vegas (which is a gross, overcrowded airport anyway). Outside of checking into hotels three times I won't have much human contact , which drastically lowers my risk of catching this stupid virus.

2. No worries about my luggage being lost.

3. No stress of going through the TSA.

So off I go next week!

Alt-Right Racism on the Campus where I work

I previously wrote about my experience being harassed. Here is the outcome. https://mediaocu.com/2019/09/12/police-chief-lieutenant-resign-interim-chief-appointed/

Then, this happened. http://mediaocu.com/2019/09/25/senate-passes-resolution-to-suspend-kappa-sigma-alpha-phi/

Now, today, this has happened at our law school and our president, Martha Burger, still will not speak out.

Death Valley October 2019!

I just returned from hiking 82 miles in three full days in Death Valley National Park. The last day I spent in the Mojave National Preserve and Sloan Canyon.

Update on my University's race problem

Original Post: https://www.democraticunderground.com/100212417527

Well, I was told by our university's general counsel that they don't think the cops broke policy. The general counsel couldn't even make eye-contact with my co-worker and I as we left the meeting.

Now I have kids on campus coming and joining the fight.

I am documenting everything on Twitter and exposing the university for their complicity with protecting this creep.

Oh, and the president told me "I don't care about his social media" when we have cops all over the country being fired etc. for what they post.

Check out what I'm doing, follow, spread the word.

Turns Out My University Covers for Racists.

I work at Oklahoma City University, we are allied with the United Methodist Church.

This guy was an officer, left for a year and has since come back, no one knew this about his past during his first tenure of employment.

https://billingsgazette.com/news/state-and-regional/wyoming/firing-of-glenrock-officers-who-tasered-driver-upheld/article_ae1be574-ce43-5987-aa0c-afebe0de94ae.html

Back in May students found out about his past and started circulating the information.

Fast-forward to July 10th when I have this guy coming to me at the library (where I work on campus) hurling threats of getting HR involved and later making a racially charged comment involving Black Lives Matter.

Why?

He thought that I was the one spreading this unfortunately, factual, publicly available knowledge about him on campus.

I was singled out because I am half-black and I work the night shift where I am one of the few employees who interacts with our ONLY black officer.

See where this is going?

I was profiled, harassed, and had attempts of intimidation thrown at me because I am black and I am friends with their only black cop (who is constantly subject to harassment).

Since then administration have stonewalled all efforts of students to speak out (they delete any mention of this story from their social media accounts). The HR chief didn't respond to the allegations for three full days (she is also in charge of the PD, imagine that).

A grievance was filed directly with the president of the University which was forwarded to the General Counsel. Trustees, faculty and our staff council are taking the issue up, but this "man" is still employed. The EEOC is also involved.

My co-worker (who was also involved) and I have a meeting with the president and the general counsel tomorrow to discuss this. We think they want to give this "man" an easy exit so he can say he is quitting to spend more time with his family-the usual bullshit.

There will be a story in the student newspaper next week exposing all of this. I can't wait.

Oh, here are some of this asshole's social media posts.

On top of this, someone obtained a communication from a staff member who frequently has lunch with members of admin who stated that administration were going to protect this scum.

That has all changed now since information has become more widely available on campus.

This is bullshit that these assholes feel they can get away with due to their favorite president being in power. Not on my watch.

Here is a history of this place's racial issues.

Shot my first concert

I was able to get a photo pass for 311 at the Cannabis Cup in OKC.

The sun definitely helped in this situation as I didn't have to deal with low-light on the stage coupled with lights!

8 Chan, 4 Chan, Reddit, Voat and the scourge of white male fragility

So I would fit into their target audience (with the exception that I am also Native and black) when it comes to age and technological engagement.

Basically 4chan, 8chan, Voat and even Reddit are cesspools for male minds which feel they have been so mistreated by everyone. But is it ever their fault? No.

Take a look at any of these sites and what do you see?

You have males of all ages clinging to their bullshit adolescence in a futile attempt of dodging responsibility for anything and everything.

Women don't like you? Well, it could never be the fact that you are a fucking misogynistic creep, right? So you become an incel.

You can't buy that big house that society has taught you that you need? You become the type of person who supports Trump, because, after all, you could have all of that fancy shit if it weren't for those illegals, right?

Let's go back to the somewhat early days of Reddit. From the beginning these guys had sections dedicated to "jailbait" and breaking into women's (and girl's) photobuckets, iClouds etc. All in the hopes of getting "nudes," because damnit, they are owed that as white males, right?

Wait! Reddit put a woman in a position of power, great right? Nope. The fuckers started a site called "voat" which is the internet equivalent of a porta-potty left out in the Texas sun for a month.

For far too long these assholes have had their own safe spaces (all the while screaming about "snowflakes" ). These are not safe spaces in dark corners, they are safe spaces in plain site, hosted on the internet by companies who won't do jack shit about them because they love the profits too much.

These guys are all a bunch of whiny little bitches who think that posting shit online, buying guns and growing beards will make them men.

It never will. They're boys. Sad. Little. Boys.

Please keep saying stupid shit, Donald.

In fact, just get dumber and dumber, we really need a meltdown.
