Donald Trump supporters are desperately searching for a scapegoat to deflect blame for the recently leaked 2005 audio in which the GOP presidential nominee boasts of forcing himself on women and they seemed to have bizarrely chosen Beyoncé to blame.

Hours after the hot mic moment from a taped appearance on “Access Hollywood” was released on Friday, Trump surrogate and CNN contributor Scottie Nell Hughes began crafting the blame rap music deflection. Less than 48 hours after the tape that contained statements from Trump like “grab them by the pussy” was released on Friday, an adviser to failed GOP presidential candidate turned Trump surrogate Ben Carson expanded upon the “blame it on rap music” defense.

Mike Malloy - Maine Governor Paul LePage Wants ‘Authoritarian Power’

Maine Governor Paul LePage has made more than his share of controversial statements. On Tuesday, in a radio interview, he uttered his newest jaw dropper.

In reconfirming his backing of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, LePage said that the United States might need someone like Trump to show “authoritarian power.” He also dismissed any concerns about the recording which was leaked last week wherein Trump is heard making extremely vulgar comments and admitting to what many say could be criminal sexual assault.

Donald lurked behind Clinton onstage, lied and even threatened to jail the Democratic presidential nominee. The debate occurred during Donald’s most recent scandal in which a tape was released showing Trump casually discussing predatory behavior towards women. That issue was brought up during the debate. The lies, though, were abundant.

Reporters for The New York Times fact-checked the statements made by Clinton and Trump during the debate and the results are pretty damning for the GOP presidential nominee.

Mike Malloy - Gary Johnson Trashes Leaders Who Know Geography

Libertarian presidential nominee Gary Johnson suggested on Tuesday that the United States would be less likely to engage in foreign conflicts if its president did not have a firm grasp on world geography.

During an interview on MSNBC, Johnson became testy as he defended a series of recent foreign policy gaffes, including not knowing about the Syrian city of Aleppo and being unable to name a single foreign leader.

“Talking about a foreign leader I respect, I have a hard time with that one,” Johnson told MSNBC host Andrea Mitchell. “That’s just who I am. And now I’m going to have to pick out a world leader and there’s going to be something wrong with them. And now I’m going to have to defend them! Well, maybe I think too much.”

“You are running to be commander-in-chief,” Mitchell reminded the candidate.

“Yeah, and you know what?” Johnson trumpeted back. “The fact that somebody can dot the i’s and cross the t’s on a foreign leader or a geographic location then allows them to put our military in harm’s way!”
