Conservatives storm the streets, Progressives say obey the government...WTF world...

The protesters in the streets are white, Conservative, Republicans rebelling against the law. Liberals and progressives are saying stay inside and listen to your government.

Things have certainly changed.

Encinitas CA protesters were NOT majority "right wingers"!

The label of "right wing" is bogus for the protest at Encinitas, California. It is one of the more liberal cities in America, look it up. The people who live there, had enough and they protested specifically, intelligently and loudly. Yeah there were some Trump trolls, they were very few and far between. You can recognize Trumpers by their expensive, professionally printed signs.

War would end if the Generals had to fight and die.

The killing of Soleimani is unique. He was instrumental in killing people and many of the people he commanded died based on his orders. This assassination was directed at a "General" and brought death directly to the person who was responsible for so much carnage.

A possible good outcome could be that those "Leaders" who would plant and reap death might hesitate if their very own lives were at stake.

The Trump Doctrine might be to kill the leaders (Qassem Soleimani, Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis and Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi) and not the soldiers. IF that is the Trumps plan, I am for it.

Michelle IS THE mountain and on TOP of the mountain.

Thanks to Skinner for the hi res images of Michelle Obama.

I see the entirety of Michelle's shape as a mountain, with her face being the top of the mountain. Perhaps a Mount Rushmore of one person? I see solid, rock hard strength topped with softness and beauty. Dr. King used mountains many times in his talks, I see a tribute to that imagery.

Some possible good news about the results of climate change.

This article that highlights how precipitation increases in Alaska that are proof of climate change actually might have some potential good news. Full disclosure, I am a weather and climate geek, so I'll try to keep it basic.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/climate-change-driving-record-snows-alaskan-mountains-study-100623399.html

- There have been huge increases in precipitation in inland Alaska
- We have the ability to measure really old ice because it does not melt.
- Increased snow in inland Alaska will not melt for a really long time. (If it does we are all dead, fast.)
- Increased snow in inland Alaska will add to the growth of the glaciers.
- It is quite possible that the accumulation of water in inland Alaska and in the glaciers could significantly mitigate the amount of water that is being released and melting at the lower elevations near the oceans and rivers. The amount of moisture that streams in to Alaska on the atmospheric rivers that creates the precipitation is enormous and measurable. That atmospheric river filled the lakes in California in a matter of months last year.

In conclusion sea rise from glacial melting might be offset by snow accumulations that are stable as frozen water. That could be good news.

Here is some additional backup information from what I believe to be a very reliable source - http://www.sciencemag.org/news/2017/02/california-rains-put-spotlight-atmospheric-rivers

Do the math for yourself and your family.

I've done my math. FYI, the only predictable years for individuals is up to 2025 when the current individual cuts expire. Any calculator that goes beyond 2025 is a guess.

7 Electors have tried switching their votes AWAY from Hillary. WTF?

So far 7 electors from Maine, Washington, Colorado and Minnesota have not voted for who their state elected. All 7 chose to not vote for ....Hillary Clinton. I'm not kidding. I don't think anyone saw THAT coming. This was in the Huffington Post. I looked through it 2x to see if anyone is switching away from Trump.

What else?
