The first time I ever voted in a Presidential election was in 1968. I voted for Nixon, and I've been trying to make amends ever since. My avatar image is of Sergeant Schultz from the Hogan's Heroes show. He was played by John Banner, a Jewish refugee from Austro-Hungary. He lost many family members in the Holocaust. and his portrayal of an incompetent Nazi was a middle finger to the actual nazis.
