I Know It's Early, but...

I am fairly concerned about the polling data coming out these days. In as much as I would love to just write it off as being "too early" or "erroneous" polling, 2016 was not as much of a surprise as many thought if you tracked that polling data. There were definite warning signs. By the same token, 2020 was not all that surprising either. Our only real concern was whether or not the courts would cave to Trump's "stolen election" nonsense. Maybe I'm missing something, but I have a hard time believing this many polls could be this off. The administration and the Democrats have to up their game...big time.

Amazing Discovery!

After doing a little research, I just found out that the land my home currently sits on was actually a civil war battlefield. As it turns out, there was a ferocious battle a short way up the road (just a little over 1500 miles away) in a small town called Gettysburg! I have a plaque on order now!

to the kind individual who sent me the heart. This place, even during its more tumultuous times of internal discord, is my sanctuary from the madness outside. At its worst, it highlights the diverse and varied ideals that exist within the Democratic Party, making it a prime haven for lively debate. At its best, it can be said unequivocally that a greater source of support for progressive causes and the individuals who answer that call cannot be found.

I don't post often. I don't reply often. Sometimes I'll simply post a video that I feel best represents my "political" mood at that moment. This is quite evident in that I have been here since the beginning and have yet to eclipse the hundred post mark. I love this place. I love the varied personalities. I love my fellow angry Democrats. I may not always have something to say, but rest assured, I'm always here.
