Sale Of Blue Nation Review Gives Hillary Clinton Camp Its Very Own Media Outlet

WASHINGTON — Hillary Clinton ally David Brock is acquiring a media outlet, sources involved in the negotiation and sale of the site tell The Huffington Post.

True Blue Media, a newly formed company incorporated by Brock, has acquired progressive news website Blue Nation Review. BNR’s previous owner, MOKO Social Media Limited, will retain a 20 percent stake in the new entity while Brock will hold the remaining 80 percent equity balance. The sale was finalized Monday night.

Peter Daou, digital media strategist for Clinton’s 2008 campaign, will serve as the new CEO of True Blue Media.

BNR is best known for exposing the lavish spending habits of former Rep. Aaron Schock (R-Ill.), ultimately leading to his resignation. The outlet is run by Jimmy Williams, a longtime regular on MSNBC and a veteran political operative, who will remain at BNR.

Washington (CNN) — Bernie and Jane Sanders won't release their back tax returns until Democratic rival Hillary Clinton releases the transcripts of her Wall Street speeches, Jane Sanders said Tuesday afternoon.

Bernie Sanders has repeatedly called on the Clinton campaign to release her speeches in an effort to show she's aligned with powerful Wall Street interests.



But he has been slow to answer Clinton's demand to release his tax returns, saying in a CNN debate earlier this month that his wife handles their financial affairs and has been too busy campaigning. The Sanders made public their 2014 return the next evening, showing they earned nearly $206,000 and paid about $28,000 in federal taxes that year.

I remember well, how when Hillary Clinton was a senator she and Pelosi would repeatedly give lip service to the Dems then cave to the Republicans and vote their way. What I didn't know was Debbie Wasserman Shultz was in that shite too. This one came after Hillary left the Senate:

"Today, the House passed the 2014 Farm Bill 251 to 166.

162 Republicans voted for it. 63 voted against it.

103 Democrats voted against it. 89 voted for it.

The Farm Bill contains $8.7 billion in cuts to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), commonly known as food stamps. This translates to a $90 per month cut to beneficiaries. This cut follows November's $5 billion cut from the program, the "hunger cliff" that the Democrats themselves created.

The deal also restricts the USDA from "advertising the SNAP program through , radio and billboard advertisements."

Nancy Pelosi, Steny Hoyer, and Debbie Wasserman Schultz all voted for the bill.

The super political action committee, Correct The Record, which has direct ties with Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s campaign, launched a “digital task force” to push out “positive content” and respond to “negative attacks” and “false narratives” spread within “online progressive communities.” The super PAC also plans to use the “task force” to “thank” and show support for superdelegates, who the campaign contends are under attack by supporters of her opponent, Bernie Sanders.

Clinton was paid by corporations or groups with U.S. government interests 94 times. A third profited from government contracts during this same period. This opens her up to scrutiny that if she is elected president her decisions would be influenced by these corporations and groups, including those closely aligned with Wall Street.
