Leiberman was Al Gore's running mate and certainly helped Gore to get dozens of conservative votes for the Democratic presidential ticket.

Leiberman would help boost Clinton's conservative credentials and enable her to win over more conservative Republicans and the youth vote.

Of course, she might decide to go with a liberal vice-president like Sanders or Warren.

Hard to say.

They really believe that major progressive social changes come via elections.

That idea demonstrates a real ignorance of American and world history.
