Reports are pouring out from Standing Rock that the military are now moving in against the peaceful protectors who are camped to protect the water. Militarized police are macing peaceful men, women and children. Militarized police are rounding up protectors, charging them with trespassing, and subjecting them to strip search and overnight incarceration. This behavior is a flagrant abuse of civil liberties.
There are more than 375 Tribes, and thousands of allies, who have come together from all over the world to highlight the importance of clean water.
More than 7,000 people, including peaceful women, children and elders, have gathered at the camps, dedicated to raising awareness and understanding of this vital issue. Present day protectors march in prayer to protect the water of their children and the bones of their ancestors....
Please sign this petition, demanding the de-militarization of the police and the National Guard, demand they cease their attacks against the peaceful water protectors at Standing Rock and their withdrawal from the treaty territory of the Great Sioux Nation.

Yes, I’m heartbroken. Yes, I need to maintain my relationship with this loved one. No, I cannot talk about it with them or else I may simply erupt like Vesuvius with an ocean of words just pouring out me like racist, misogynistic, xenophobic, idiotic, or egomaniac. I could go on. I need to preserve our family, so I will never utter Trump’s name in my loved one’s presence. Thankfully, they know enough about me to avoid talking politics altogether. After all, we’ve watched Fox News together and they definitely know where I stand.

Cheese contains a chemical found in addictive drugs, scientists have found.
The team behind the study set out to pin-point why certain foods are more addictive than others.
Using the Yale Food Addiction Scale, designed to measure a person’s dependence on, scientists found that cheese is particularly potent because it contains casein.
The substance, which is present in all dairy products, can trigger the brain’s opioid receptors which are linked to addiction....
