My next door neighbor is voting for Romney, here's why!!

Was talking with my next door neighbor this morning, just back from a six month tour of duty in Germany, and he told me he was voting for Mitt Romney. After I got over the shock of that little announcement, (He's an independent, who usually votes Democrat), I asked him why he would do just a stupid thing. He told me that he agreed with Romney assertion about the 47% of Americans being lazy, and want the government to bail them out.

I told him he was wrong about the 47%, and I told him most Americans are hard working and that Romney's policies would hurt the majority of Americans. Medicare and social security would be phased out, the deficit would balloon out of control, RoeVWade would be overturned, and a whole host of other things would affect the middle class and poor!!

He told me that Obama had four years to fix things and he has done a horrible job at doing so. I told him the Republicans in Congress has obstructed everything Obama has tried to do He said that didn't make any difference seeing that the Senate and the presidency were Democratically controlled, and Obama could have put through anything he wanted!! I told him that the Republicans filibustered Obama for 4 years.

Then the truth came out. Seems those men in Germany he was over there with convinced him that Obama was this evil, nasty socialist BLACK MAN, who had to be stopped at all costs!! I called him a racist!! With that, he became angry and slammed the door in my face.

Is there any reason to try to talk to him again, or should I just ignore him and cancel his vote by voting Obama?? My neighbor seems like a reasonable man, who has just been listening to the wrong people. It's just absolutely insane that we have people in this country and abroad who think like this.

Romney can't quit Trump proves to me he is a coward!!!

All Mitt has to say is Barack Obama was born in the US and distance himself from the birther nutjob himself, but he won't do it. I hope Trump latches on to Romney and dogs him for the rest of the campaign. All this does is make Romney look like a coward and very weak!! Mitt Romney has no soul, no backbone, nothing. I feel more and more confident with each passing day that the Romney campaign will do down in history as one of the worst campaigns ever.

Jon Huntsman disses GOP, says Reagan couldn't win in today's GOP environment!!

Huntsman took some shots at Mitt Romney, saying his foreign policy on China makes no sense. Says Romney has to campaign less on fear, come up with some bold solutions to the country's problems, and provide a positive alternative to Obama.

Charles Payne wants to "Throw Up" over unemployment report.

The idiot was on Fox business channel channel this morning with Stuart Varney, talking about the unemployment numbers, calling the report some of the worst job growth he has seen. Funny isn't it!! Only Fox Noise would call adding 120,000 jobs and the unemployment rate falling to 8.2% bad news. Shows how really desperate they are to want to defeat that "Socialist Kenyan" in the fall.

Why would anyone want to cut funding for the National Weather Service??

President Obama has threatened to cut funding, the GOP has also. The NWS does tremendous work and has improved in lead times for tornadoes and other severe weather alerts. It makes no sense to cut funding for a government operation that actually helps people. Please, don't cut this vital program!!
