5. I've always thought state universities could step forward --

and say, "We won't accept for credit high school bio classes that don't teach evolution... chemistry classes that ignore climate change, literature classes that ban literature."
Students have to have certain high school classes to get admitted to the state unis, and the first time a student's high school classes are denied, parents will be howling.

Of course, in Florida, the governor seems to be absolute dictator over the universities, so maybe it wouldn't work there.
