Getting them off the R train is the first step towards gently bringing them closer to our side. Insulting them or gloating will just make them defensive. Shaming them for being stupid can be satisfying but it will make them dig in their heels and they will feel better about throwing us into the camps later so it's not worth it.
They are starting to see that Trump's administration is not here for them. This doubt needs to be given sunlight, water, and nutrients to let it grow organically.
