... about your homeless experience?

How did you eat and the like? I'm wondering because I think that's where I'm headed eventually.

EDIT: I'm having trouble keeping jobs due to my eyesight. It's a retina problem that's not correctable by glasses. I'm blind in one eye already and my "good eye" slowly gets worse. Unless it gets FAR worse, I'll be unable to draw disability. My good eye is barely good enough for me to still drive at the moment. I'm using magnification software to interact here on DU. I've considered all sorts of things, including cutting out my "good eye" to qualify for disability, and even suicide, but perhaps the homeless life (if that happens) won't be so terrible after all.
