a woman with two young children, from the two salesmen. He said the salesmen had an “aggressive” sales pitch and did not have permission to be on the property.

(Cook’s lawyer) said Cook never took the gun out of his jacket pocket...He said his client only recently moved to Massachusetts...and has not yet had time to get a Massachusetts gun license.

(Cook’s lawyer) said Cook was about to call about the two men for trespassing when police came to his door...

He never took out his gun, yet someone called the cops on HIM? Who would do such a thing -- a couple of salesmen who'd had a gun pulled on them?

Throw the book at the doofus -- and make him wait at least year to get his new gun permit. He simply should have called the landlord or building management if he thought the salesmen trespassing, and them handle it. And aggressive sales pitches do not equate to a deadly threat.
