3. No. To understand, read about libertarianism and ITS goals.

Although authoritarian conservativism, fascism, and religious extremism are allied forces and expressed in this, the "ideology" driving economic policies is strongly libertarian.

Many of the dark-money donors are, or style themselves as, libertarian, and they are driving this.

For true libertarians, the #1 moral (for everyone) is individual liberty. It is so strong that for some nothing else on their list comes close in importance.

Psychologists have found that, unlike liberals and conservatives, libertarians are lacking in altruism, a sense of duty toward others. They think it's misguided and leads to weakness in person and society. And they're right to some degree. Without spreading the costs of healthcare as we currently do, the current epidemics of kidney, heart, and diabetic disease would have been self limiting. I.e., when people could no longer pay for their own healthcare, they would die and thus encourage others to amend their lifestyles, leading to a happier, healthier, and more prosperous America. Same for genetic disorders. A medical "cleansing" of society.

For an example of how their thinking lead to this tax bill as a start: Mandatory taxation to pay for government programs like Social Security is a complete violation of personal liberty.

Of course, many who claim to be libertarians are greedy phonies, only pretending this ruthless dismantling has anything to do with morality and the good of society. I believe Paul Ryan is the real thing, and suspect the Kochs he's allied with probably are not, likely authoritarian conservatives like their fascist leaning Bircher father.
