Sears: The place to shop for the bear necessities

http://www.wpxi.com/news/news/100-pound-bear-wanders-pittsburgh-mills-mall/nPzn9/

PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Mills Mall was evacuated late Saturday night after a 200-pound bear wandered into an entrance vestibule.

Officials said the bear was near the entrance to Sears department store.

Wildlife officers and Sears employees stood at the store's entrance doors for two hours to try and keep the bear contained in the area.

If you go to the link you'll see that the bear gained 100 pounds between the title and the first paragraph! Any shoppers missing???

It's probably just trying to get away from the Marcellus Shale blast furnace wells in that area.

on every possible habitat. We are forcing wildlife into our urban centers because they have nowhere else to go. Capitalism rules. America - we're number one!

Game officials tranquilized the bear and said they have relocated the animal.

Authorities said the bear was captured and no injuries were reported.

Not sure I believe this and-he-lived-happily-ever-after bit. It would be so unlike what usually happens when the police, a critter, and guns are involved.
