Seriously this year I upholstered all our chairs thanks to persons teaching us on the internet.

1. Do it yourself videos are great!

I used to take my Mini to the shop to get the headlamp bulbs replaced, they charged me over $100!!

It was so easy to do, order the bulbs (2 of them) on the internet for $12.00, and watch the video on the how-to's.

I did the same thing for these side panels that came off on my new/used Fiat (the mini needed a new engine, that was a bit too much to do it yourself).

You can find just about anything you need to do on the internet. Thanks to the good people who make the videos showing us how we can do it ourselves!

3. Yep - everything is available

I'm amazed at how much I have learned from good folks who generously share their knowledge on a variety of subjects.

2. Ah, memories of

my sister-in-law, a life long friend who died from the sorrow of a marriage to a bigot. She taught me this skill, long ago.

4. We usually bring in the cleaners but they messed up an appointment this year

and I decided what the hell - let me have a go.
