It Seems Julian Assange Has Deleted His Twitter Account

Could be not much, could be huge. Merry Christmas!

For reasons unknown the official Twitter account of Julian Assange, the leader of disgraced transparency organization Wikileaks, has been deleted. The Internet Archive—or someone availing themselves of its services—appears to have been preserving snapshots of Assange’s account once every hour since September 18th of this year. Based on that information, it’s likely the @JulianAssange account was deleted between midnight and 1am GMT.

I tagged him several times asking why he is still in self imposed hiding. What is he afraid of? His claim was he went there because if he answered his rape charges, Obama would have him extradited. Obama is gone and trump isn't about to do that. Hell, even Sweden said they would no longer extradite him, so why is he still in the embassy? By all standards he is free to leave. Again what is he really afraid of? the Russians?

You might remember CryptoKitties, which took off just a few short weeks ago—although this exhausting year makes it feel much, much longer. It’s an application built on top of the Ethereum cryptocurrency where users buy digital goods in the form of cats which they can then breed and sell in the hopes of a return on their investments. Dumb, right? Clearly a bubble built inside the greater bubble of cryptocurrency? It rapidly became so popular it nearly grounded the entire Ethereum network to a halt, with individual cats selling for as much as $100,000.

Wikileaks, the disgraced transparency organization now believed to have been used as a conduit by Russia to influence the outcome of the 2016 election, has decided to get in on the action, producing a litter from two cats: the orange, bucktoothed Mr. Wikileaks, and his distraught looking mate Mrs. Wikileaks.

Specially earmarked are two tokens, Trump’s Tender Tabby and Clinton Console Kitty, which the organization claims it’s gifting to their respective namesakes. Add the former to a long list of mostly unrequited advances Assange has made on the Trump family...

He no longer felt like being a lackey for two corrupt mob regimes, drumpf and Putin, and decided to face life like a person with a shred of honor and dignity?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA man I crack myself up.

No seriously. He probably just hit the wrong button by accident and will be back to spreading made up shit for Putin tomorrow.

Normally, when faced with an accusation, Assange reacts with a deflection and a counter-attack that ignores the topic. He doesn't retreat.

Twitter has started deleting Alt-Right Twitter-accounts. My guess is that Assange regards this as censorship and deleted his Twitter-account as a publicity-stunt to stand up for the freedom of speech of Nazis.

I never saw him on Twitter, never wondered about him, never gave him a thought. His absence means zero to me.
