don’t seem very bright. Trump really does think he’s above the law if he thinks Flynn can’t bury him or he’s stupid enough to think Flynn is going to go to prison for the rest of his life to protect

a guilty person. when you're guilty you attack witnesses on credibility. when you're innocent you refute their claims w/ actual evidence.

18 US Code § 1512


(b) Whoever knowingly uses intimidation, threatens, or corruptly persuades another person, or attempts to do so, or engages in misleading conduct toward another person, with intent to—
(1) influence, delay, or prevent the testimony of any person in an official proceeding;
(2) cause or induce any person to—
(A) withhold testimony, or withhold a record, document, or other object, from an official proceeding;


To be charged with witness tampering in the United States, the attempt to alter or prevent testimony is sufficient. There is no requirement that the intended obstruction of justice be completed.
