and I hope he reads DU.

Because he ALWAYS misses one element when they utter their crap theories...

They claim that the tax cut will expand the economy and reopen factories here in America, thus creating millions of higher paying jobs for those factory workers.

And he never calls them on the fact that EVEN if they are right and the companies start manufacturing again here in the US, those new factories will hire a small fraction of the workforce they may have once employed here in the US before they were outsourced.

The next big wave in worker reduction is coming, and this time it will be automation.

So, no, there is NO trickle down. Production may increase (but more likely it WON'T because of lack of demand)... but the labor force will barely notice it.

And none of the talking heads, including our esteemed Ali Velshi, call them on it.

I'd be interested in his opinion on how much of the past year's stock market gains he believes may be attributable to:

1. A business community sitting on a lot of cash going all in to bolster the image of the businessman President (one of their own).

2. The expectation of not only big tax cuts enriching big business but additional deregulation and a hands-off approach to enforcement enabling easier profitability for the forseeable future.

Sit through an episode of The 11th Hour where Brian Williams doesn't use the word "germane" at least once.

I always turn Brian Williams off. Not sure what it is about him, but I just can't stand him! I like Ari Melber a lot too. He has been subbing for Lawrence this week.

Hope they aren't burning him out, seems like he has been on almost 24/7 in the last week or 2.
