He had a run-in with the police and ended up in the hospital. His parents want to know why

Two parents want to see police body camera and dashcam footage of their son's arrest after a Christmas Eve encounter with Troy, Alabama, police left the 17-year-old badly beaten and hospitalized.

Photos -- one of which mother Angela Williams posted on Facebook, where it was shared more than 80,000 times -- show Ulysses Wilkerson in a hospital bed, the white sheet beneath his head bloody. His nose and lips are crusted in blood, and his left eye is swollen shut.

"He had trauma to the brain, swelling on the brain, and a cracked eye socket in three different places," the boy's father, Ulysses Wilkerson Jr., told CNN affiliate WDHN.

In her Monday post, Williams claims Troy police officers assaulted her son while he was in handcuffs and haven't provided her much information. Troy police say they used "reasonable and necessary" force to subdue the teen after he reached for his waistband.

You know what you see all the time? Video of cops beating the shit out of someone and they always SEEM TO HAVE NO PROBLEM AT ALL finding more cops to help.

You know what you NEVER see? A cop stopping another cop from beating the shit out of someone.

I would bet this is a case of "contempt of cop". They had to teach that smart alec a lesson.

She said they assaulted him while he was in handcuffs, but unless she was there, she wouldn't know that.

Hopefully there's video on this.

Not that I 'encourage it', of course, but why didn't they shoot him if they legitimately thought he was going for a gun, hmmmmm?

If they were SOOOO threatened, shouldn't they have just shot the kid?

BTW, any GUN found?

Not reading there was, so ... what person in their right mind, let alone someone of color in the USA, 'goes for their waistband' in front of cops ... without actually having a gun in said waistband?

Gee, you don't think this is the start of a retaliation for Blacks for having the audacity to show up to vote for the Democrat do you? Wouldn't be those 'consequences' that LOSER Boy Roy was prattling on about?

Of course, the cops in the South aren't feeling AT ALL emboldened to f*** with Blacks down there, what, with Dump as President, and Beauregard as the AG, and CON control of all 3 branches of the Federal Govt? NAAAAAAAAWWWWW ...

There was a gun found nearby. It's not known if it was Wilkerson's.

But trying to link this to Roy Moore's loss is a huge stretch. Police violence against minorities, particularly young black men, has been going on for a long long time.

With pictures like this circulating around everywhere in this country (instantly) and the world, the lesson is, "The Times They are a Changing...

The cops are so sure that they can get away with anything and anytime. The cops cannot get away with anything. The town will pay and pay a whole lot in order to settle to avoid the ultimate trial..

Chicago, has cops who do stuff like this, and the city has paid out millions over the years. Yep, millions over the years..

It is not pretty, but beating up someone has consequences, even in Troy Alabama..town of 18,000, not far from Montgomery Alabama. (this is one of the lead stories at CNN news. Right now this story is all over the country..not later, right now.)
