That's a minor point, though. I believe the Nazis were very religious in the sense they were led to believe the state is God, and that they had one state, one people and one Fuehrer. This was the so-called 'Fuehrerprinzip,' which, along with the sacred oaths the officer corps was required to swear to Adolf Hitler, I strongly believe constituted a 'religion.'

Not to lecture, but according to at least one professor of religious studies, the Klan, and most white nationalist groups are firmly rooted in Christianity. It isn't the same Christianity, though, as that espoused by the mainstream. But Christianity it is, nevertheless - cherry picked to represent the whites as the victims of genocide and oppression. Basically, these people have declared themselves the victims, which is what blows me away.

But yes, the Fuhrerprinzip is a huge qualifier as anything could change at any moment for any reason.
