Is Facebook on a bot that triggers whenever you post trigger words like "Russia" or "Mueller"?
I don't post many political comments on Facebook, but the two times I linked or commented using those words, Facebook has sent me a comment about community standards.
If I'm right, I just wonder why they don't shut down a poster who is still posting false twitter comments from Democrats with high profiles? Some are very obviously tampered comments, but not all quotes are obvious.
In fact, while I'm here, is there anywhere on the internet to confirm attributions or quotes?

Same thing for Twitter.

(17,454 posts)as to the rest of your post, I'm not sure of the answer to your question, but I do know one thing.
Facebook needs to get their act together, and quickly. I quit facebook long ago, but I still lurk on a dummy account to keep tabs on the opposition. The amount of propaganda on there, even today, is startling.
I hope you get an answer to your question.

(6,568 posts)Do you keep your posts public to the world or friends only? If public to the world, it could be any asshole troll fucking with you.
If friends only, then you have an asshole friend.
For what its worth, I post volatile political stuff all the time, and have never had a post removed from facebook. Ive also regularly sent messages to Trumps facebook page, calling him a piece of dogshit, suggesting he end his Presidency, telling him he has small hands and no dick, et al with no issues.

(46,753 posts)I know I have an asshole friend or two, but no real way to unfriend them without causing an uncomfortable situation at the next gathering. My posts only are available to "friends."
Maybe Facebook should give us an opportunity to unfriend people who are disturbed by our posts. Frankly, I have stopped following those who post things that are not consistent with my politics, so I don't care what they post. I wish they would do the same.

(6,568 posts)When posting, click the box that says "Friends", and change it to "Friends, except...". It'll have dialog up to select which friends to block from seeing said post.
They'll never know the difference.

(46,753 posts)I kept one sister in the approved status, and kept the other sister out because she seemed conservative. For all that trouble, the one I shaded from seeing my posts stopped responding to any of my entries. She must have unfollowed me.
Wish others like her would follow her lead.

(25,503 posts)I got a post removed from Nextdoor when I invited local Democrats to a Meet and Greet. It was a harmless invite.
They said I was "advertising" and it violated their TOS.

(2,068 posts)FB is fine for staying in touch with friends and relatives - it is a crap platform to express political or religious views.
