Alabama lawyer reveals Obama's demand for loyalty when first meeting with US attorneys
By Leslie Salzillo

Joyce White Vance is a University of Alabama Law Professor who is often seen on MSNBC and served America as an attorney in Birmingham. She served as a federal prosecutor for 25 years and is a wife and mother.

In a tweet Thursday night, Vance expressed her respect for President Obama and how he made it clear to his appointed US attorneys—who they will be serving. Here is what she revealed.

Joyce Alene @JoyceWhiteVance
“The first time President Obama met with US Attorneys, he told us, “I appointed you but you don’t serve me. You serve the American people. And I expect you to act with independence & integrity.” None of us ever forgot that.”

everything we say or do? IOW, don't do anything they may intentionally misuse? I say nope - let's give them all of these truths right in their faces - truths about honesty, integrity, honor, veracity. Words they probably don't even know much less can spell.

It does no damage. Because WE know or suspect that its a good story. That it does not say "...demands loyalty to HIM" And we also know his character, that he would never demand personal loyalty. I went into the story with the full confidence that it was not a negative story against Obama.

But......brainwashed deplorables will latch onto that headline looking for any kind of dirt on Obama. They would go into a story with this headline expecting to be vindicated in their indoctrination that anything Trump is accused of, Obama did it twice as bad. So it would affect them more. At least a small number anyways. I suspect that most would simply dismiss it as a fake story.

Since I have a very good idea of the character of President Obama I had a good idea of what was to come. I feel quite certain the original author selected that title on purpose and for the purpose of provoking the right to click on it. I would have done likewise in the hope that I would send thousands of reich-wingers clicking; looking for evidence that President Obama was a man of the same poor character and principles as 45. Knowing, all the while, that they would all be feeling the pit fall from their stomachs just a bit when they read the words of a real man of character.

I'm tearing up over here just feeling the immense sense of what the country has lost with this abortion of a president in the current administration. The precipitous drop off is the most jarring in the history of the nation, and maybe in world history. We lost a leader and a statesman and replaced him with a mad carnival barker with low self-esteem and a real hair problem that somehow no one tells him to address.

Truth be told, I could care less about the hair if he would only resign...yesterday!!!

To all my fellow veterans and elected officials. REMEMBER your OATH.

I am a veteran and I have held an elected office.

In both cases I raised my right hand and swore that I would.....

..... "support and defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic".

Let's all remember that oath and strive to continue to defend the Constitution.

The GOP, Trump and the billionaires are working to destroy the Constitution amendment by amendment, brick by brick.

It's not about the flag or the National Anthem. It is now and always should be about the Constitution!

Defend it and keep it strong and it will defend us all in return!! This is where all our loyalties should lie.
