Trumpaganda
From the moment he picked Melania’s peekaboob cropped outfit so people would try to look up at her breasts when he announced he was running to the ubiquitous flags neatly lined up behind him in every single tv appearance Trumpaganda is on full display.
We’ve seen it so much we probably don’t consciously notice it anymore. At least once that I remember his backdrop was his airplane and he made sure to always have a podium that looked like the President’s with a round sign on the front that copied the Presidential sea. His rally venues were always indoors on a stage with blue curtains and lined up flags - lots of flags. Always flags everywhere.
He and his followers were convinced that’s all he needed in order to look presidential.
I borrowed this wonderful descriptive term from 3 very clever DUers when I started a Thread asking for a word or phrase that can distill what we’re living through so everyone can understand instantly without any further explanation. Trumpaganda fits that bill.
Now I hear he was on two monitors behind Sara Huckabee this morning looking like Big Brother.
