...office is new daddies, especially first time daddies of daughters. Their whole outlook on the female half of the population undergoes a 180 degree change in about 3 seconds after birth.

I remember how besotted Chris was when their first child was born.

I just feel like the transformation of journalists into "people on tv we like" is a not altogether positive one.

My view - and I am guessing it is not a popular one here - is that the relationship between journalists (especially tv journalists) and the public has been changing for the worse lately with the advent of social media and the like.
