Let's Face It If It Were Up To Trump Obama & Clintons Would Be In Jail Right Now.

Good thing such things are not up to Trump. We are in territory so far removed from normal is it DANGEROUS. What makes it more so is that we have a fully criminal GOP that is being supported by the RW hate establishment. The rest of the "lame stream" media treats all this chaos as pretty much normal. Sure a few of that media goes after Trump and the GOP, but not in any significant way that will change things.

They allow the GOP to escape the hard questions. And they let the GOP pretty much operate as legitimate players with a legitimate agenda that weakens the country. They pretty much allow the blatant racism and bigotry with no kick back. So in that respect the media is kind of useless.

It is hard to see how we turn everything around. Now we are seeing oligarchs wanting to proliferate "Fox" media models to spread their fascist ideas even farther.

ADDENDUM - Honestly, the situation really looks more serious than we realize. The fact that the GOP will do everything to support Trump makes it all worse. Add to that fact that the GOP still wants the support of Russian operatives to help them maintain power. Damn we know they fixed the election big time except they did not plan to end up with Trump. We know the entire operation is not legitimate because they rigged down ticket and state elections as well.

The GOP in the end will be as bad as the Nazis in a different way. Their real teeth has not come out yet because they have not consolidated the power they need to be the ONLY PARTY.

we need to have a meeting, and figure out what to do next, because that will be our last chance to stop the dictatorship.

the US corporate media is owned by conservatives, and promotes a conservative world view. There are a few small exceptions, but the majority of the dialogue in this country is center-right to far right.

3. It Is Really Radical Right Actually. Not Even Close The Center. The Center Now Is Right ---.

from where it used to be. Look back to the Nixon era and the center was a little left. The center was shifted to far right since Reagan if you really get into the details and how much has been eroded since 1981.

Obama was no more a leftist than was Eisenhower. But the extreme right, the Kochs, the Scaifes, the DeVos family, have all been pushing the limits of what is considered acceptable political positions to the right for 50 years.

6. Actually Eisenhower Was Even Left Of Present Democrats If You Look At His Platform.

When Eisenhower ran for election the platform was left of present day Democrats. He was pro union. He was for reigning in the military industrial complex. Thom Hartmann read that platform on his show last year and it was really a surprise how far left it really was.

Bill Clinton ran slightly left of the new center as a "new Democrat" then he governed more right and actually passed some of the GOP crap as well. We are still suffering from NAFTA, welfare reform and Telecom 1996. The real key fact is that the Democrats abandoned open support of public workers and government workers and teachers. It was about being bipartisan.

The myth of bi-partisan governance, when only one side is compromising on every issue.

It makes no difference who's in prison if the post-apocalyptic civil war you consistently warn us of happens.
