About Trump, Mr Trump is too stupid to know that he is stupid.

How else do you explain his stupid tweets and the comments he makes?
A smart person would stop this, but Mr. Trump is so stupid that he doubles down.
And nobody is going to suggest or tell Mr. Trump that he is doing something "stupid."

the Dunning Kruger effect.

In the field of psychology, the Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias wherein people of low ability suffer from illusory superiority, mistakenly assessing their cognitive ability as greater than it is. The cognitive bias of illusory superiority derives from the metacognitive inability of low-ability persons to recognize their own ineptitude; without the self-awareness of metacognition, low-ability people cannot objectively evaluate their actual competence or incompetence.[1]

They are under a legal siege of their own making and rather than surrender and confess their crimes, they are attempting to hold out and win the battle.
Good luck with that ...

That is there are people who did not think that Trump was stupid, they thought he was a little off, but not too much. that have been convinced, and are being convinced each day, that his actions prove that that he is truly "stupid."

Whether it is what you have written about Trump
trying to convince Sessions to participate in a case that he should not participate in because Sessions would be involved in a case with his superior, (totally unethical) ...or .....

writing about how smart he is, when bragging about intelligence is not really intelligent; Trump is indeed convincing people through his actions, that he is stupid

Why? because his actions and his words are proving that he is indeed ..stupid beyond belief A truly intelligent person never talks or writes like Trump talks and writes. And as he continues the journey, of talking this way, and writing this way: more people are being convinced each day that he is not only stupid, but totally incompetent to do the job that he has.

And, some of those now being convinced of his incompetence, were some of his supporters in my opinion. Some are now seeing that he is incompetent because of his total waste of time and energy with the texting. Smart people do not waste time this way.

Adios Muchacho, off to the New Trump Tower he would go if Pence did not pardon him, a la Ford and Nixon. That's the stumbling block, loss of prosecutorial immunity as president, so Pence has to get on board with the pardon. He'll happily do that to become 46. They can use the Alzheimer's diagnosis as an excuse for Trump's pardon. Pence can allow all Trump's minions to face their crimes if he has kept his distance from criminality.

9. You are correct, this crowd is "Clueless" beyond belief. Stupidity is rampant there.

Because of their success, they will always be "clueless." Perhaps when the family falls, and falls all the way down, wherever that is, whenever that is, then a member or two of that group will self examine and figure out that change needs to be made in their attitude, what they have learned, and who they are.

but....until then, their stupidity is their family trait. It shines so bright that the rest of what that family is, is lost in the overwhelming brightness of that one word..stupid
