The Trump adoration campaign with all this sickening groveling is just too much to watch. WTF happened in the last few months? I have never seen anything so embarrassing to our country internationally.

Corruption is the word you seek. Look to Brazil, where the bribes are illegal and people go down when revealed, but the majority in Congress is guilty and they protect others to save their own asses. Herein the USA, you just need to report the bribes.

If they do not secure their party's nomination, they can not collect Citizens United dollars to hide in an offshore account For most of them, getting nominated is better than focusing on the general election right now. At least if they get voted out in November, they will be rich.
