Go Fund request for 3 yr. old Dominic
A couple of weeks before Christmas an old classmate posted on Facebook that his daughter had been killed in a car accident and his grandson, Dominic, had been put in an induced coma. Can't even imagine the pain he was going through, especially during the holidays; but I did hold my adult kids closer during Christmas and appreciated every second we spent together. We just never know how life will turn out, despite our expectations.
A Go Fund site had been set up for Dominic, but I couldn't donate until today. I went to the site and I was surprised to find just modest movement. $8792 of a $25,000 goal. I guess that's the way it works for us ordinary people. No big names and little coverage.
Anyway, if anyone is looking for a good cause, maybe this one is it. I know nothing about the family's political views, in case that matters to anyone; but I remember my friend was a fun loving surfer type back in the day. One of the kindest souls you could ever meet.
