No doubt in my mind that Trump has Russian dirt on the GOP.

We know that the Russians hacked the RNC, too. Now every Trump critic is falling in line to kiss his ass, usually after a private golf outing or a special trip on AF1. Why? It doesn't make any sense. The man has an approval rating at roughly that of herpes. Yet, the people who lined up to call him out before are now genuflecting and singing his praises. Is it really just because of the tax cut? I know they're all craven opportunists, but what's the opportunity here? They already got their tax cuts. Are they waiting in line for the Tangerine Toddler to dole out the for-profit private infrastructure contracts? What's the angle I'm missing?

Trump is incapable of not blurting out whatever he knows, thinks, or feels. He would not be judiciously sitting on information of any kind. He's not wired that way.

And all those people singing his praises are very happy because of their tax cuts, or because any and all sensible regulations of their industries are being rapidly repealed.

Plus, I suspect that they think they can control him, and to an extent they can. Just give him the attention he wants, get him to sign another executive order, let him play golf several hours every day so that he doesn't pay real attention to real world stuff, and they're just fine.

I also think they see lots of opportunity for a little grifting of their own on the side. It's not like Twitler is going to mind. Look at what Price pulled. Granted, he had to resign but if he hadn't been so flagrant he never would have been caught.

My guess is there's something less sinister, like they dont want to look like a party in chaos and they need all the trump crazies on board to have any chance at re-election, but it could be dirt on them. It really is something to behold to watch the GOP fall in line after many of them calling him something like a "disaster" during the primary season. I'm looking at you: Grahamn, Rubio, Cruz, Christie, et al.
