avoid a face to face interview with the FBI? I think that it would be a huge mistake to allow Trump to skate out of it. Trump can hardly claim that he doesn't have enough free time to take part in an interview.

He and his legal team don't know all the info that Mueller has. It should still be relatively easy to catch him in a lie even if he communicates in some way other a than face to face interview.
