Does Anyone Here Think They'll Use Trump's Medical Results To Invoke.....

the 25th? Declare Trump unfit to serve out his term. Use his results to also declare him incompetent to be interogated by Mueller and maybe even to avoid any consequences for any crimes Mueller comes up with. Trump walks away free. Pence pardons the rest of the group and the Repugs continue on their merry way to take apart our democracy.

I'm just wondering what excuse he'll use to get out of the physical exam. He seems to have a history of forgetting what he's announced he'll do...

to tweet some of the outrageous stuff that Trump does. His tweets keep everyone talking about Trump instead of focusing on what is really going on in Washington.

And they were significant, even life threatening.

We will never hear about Trump's, either.. Be prepared to be told that Trump is the healthiest American since Jack LaLanne.

First, the exam does not typically include a thorough psychological exam. At most it tests some basic neurological functions. Here's an example of one of Obama's exam results.http://www.presidency.ucsb.edu/papers_pdf/122456.pdf

Second, the constitutional standard is that the president be unable to discharge the duties of the office. Trump can discharge his duties and is doing so. The fact that he does so in an unpresidential style and with policy objectives we can't stand doesn't make him incapable of performing his duties (which, as specified in the constitution, include signing or vetoing legislation, appointing cabinet members, ambassadors, judges, etc.) and delivering a state of the union message (which can be in writing) to the Congress.

Third, given the above, it's impossible to see Pence and half the cabinet publicly pushing for his removal (Pence has too much ambition to alienate the Trump base and probably feels like there's a good chance Trump won't run for reelection in 2020). Nor is it remotely likely that 2/3 of the House and Senate would vote to remove Trump since that would require a significant number of republicans to go along and they won't do so.

Short of Trump having a stroke or some other medical incident that literally puts him out of commission, talk about the 25th amendment is just a pipe dream.
