Otherwise, yes, he would be disqualified. It should have been a felony though. What he did was way more than a misdemeanor.

Considering all the cruel and unusual things he did to inmates through the years, he should be relegated to assistant Walmart greeter in the middle of a desert with no air conditioning.

Anyone convicted of anything can run for federal office. The Constitution does not place limits on convictions.

that by accepting the pardon, he was in essence, admitting guilt. It was almost like he couldn't believe what he was hearing. But Joe. It is true. So shut up and just go away.
