QUICK THREAD on Mueller Probe

Tea Pain @TeaPainUSA
1) QUICK THREAD on Mueller Probe Tea Pain suspects we won't see further indictments until Mueller locks down an interview date with Trump or Trump says "No interview."
2) Flynn's plea deal has yielded bushels of juicy fruit and allowed Mueller to go directly after Trump without spendin' another round of indictments tippin' his hand.
3) If Trump agrees to an interview, Mueller might drop a couple of sweet plea deals from mid-sized fish right before hand to crank up the pressure on Trump, but Tea suspects Mueller will not play any card he doesn't have to till he has Trump in the hot seat.
4) Tea believes if Mueller drops indictments before he has a firm interview date, Trump'll bolt like a yearlin' colt.
5) If Trump says "No Interview!", expect Mueller to let go with a massive bombin' run, then subpoena Trump to appear before his Grand Jury.
6) Mueller is a shrewd interrogator. A good interrogator exploits the weaknesses of his opponents. Trump's biggest weaknesses is his pride and his arrogance.
7) Mueller's played so few of his cards, Trump may arrogantly believe Mueller's got nothin' on him and run his mouth more recklessly.
8) In closin', don't interpret this period of calm as weakness on Mueller's part. It means just the opposite. Mueller has a chance to roll the President months quicker than anyone expected. Hold fast. Good things are comin' soon! <Pain Out>

First there were reports that Trump would sit for an interview with Special Counsel Robert Mueller. Then Trump prevaricated and said in an interview was “unlikely.” Interview or not, sooner or later the president is going to have to answer some questions.

“The absolute last thing I want to do in my life is be sitting next to Donald Trump being questioned by the special counsel.”

—Anonymous lawyer familiar with the Mueller investigation to New York magazine.

Although the New Year dawned with reports that President Trump would sit for an interview with Special Counsel Robert Mueller, Trump later seemed to throw cold water on these accounts saying, “When they have no collusion … it seems unlikely that you’d even have an interview.”

As usual, Trump is obsessed with the notion of “collusion.” Meanwhile, there are other crimes Mueller might be interested in, such as obstruction of justice. And always remember that things change quickly Trumpland. Only 48 hours ago, someone “close to the president” told The Washington Post that Trump was eager to sit down with the special counsel. He “is comfortable participating in an interview and believes it would put to rest questions about whether his campaign coordinated with Russia in the 2016 election.”

But, as New York noted, “No lawyer worth his salt or her salt would let a client like Trump be interviewed.” Especially by a first-rate lawman/prosecutor who once led the FBI. The record shows that Trump is a walking, talking lying machine. ..................

"No" is not a valid answer to a subpoena of the President.

I take comfort in this exchange:

>Pinkie LeStrange

"How long do you think Mueller will let him stall before saying yes or no to an interview?"

>Tea Pain

"No word. Not sure."

He's confident about the other info but can't answer this.

Sounds like someone in the know is aware of the public's frustration with no big name indictments since Manafort/Gates and is trying to reassure folks that things are on track.

Note: Tea did work with at least one congressional committee member on Trump/Russia.
