Eisen is commenting on a tweet from Maggie Haberman pointing out earlier physicals gave Trump's height as 6'2" and not 6'3" as claimed yesterday by Ronny Jackson.

(42,759 posts)Seriously. If the measurement was done touching the top of his hair lightly, he's going to register as an inch taller than if his hair was pushed down during the measurement.
These measurements are not exact (i.e., someone listed as 6 feet tall might really be 5 11 and some fraction or 6 feet and some fraction, not 6 feet on the nose.)
Obama was listed as 6' 1" (or 73 inches) in most of his physicals. But he was listed as 73.5 in his last one? Did he grow a half inch? Probably not. These are "give or take" a bit measurements.
Plus, while in my experience, height and weight measurements are taken with shoes off, Obama's 2010 physical report indicates that his weight was measured "with shoes and workout attire".

(33,198 posts)I understand and appreciate the doctor was bound (and reminded, I'm sure) by the precedent of patient/doctor confidentiality. Note: The Trumps have a long history of abusing such confidentiality statutes. Remember, Jr. tried to give the client/attorney privilege as his reason for not revealing what occurred on AF1... Because, there was an attorney present.)
This is on Trump and not the doctor. The doctor has been going by the ethics of his profession.

(36,827 posts)Describing someone as having "excellent health" who is obviously morbidly obese and has heart disease isn't doing his patient or the public any service. Anyone in the medical field who is this dishonest isn't fit to clean bed pans.
