If you're a current Federal Employee, how do you feel about a shutdown?

All of our income comes from some source of the government. My spouse is retired military and a social security recipient. I am still employed with Uncle. On my way into work this morning, we had a discussion about the shutdown. We decided that if the Dems could take a stand to ensure that DACA was addressed as well as CHIP, we gladly stand with them even if we didn't get reimbursed. To us, it's worth it to bring those DACA kids some peace and address the health plan for the CHIPies.

How do you all feel about it?

For?

Against?

BUT if for some reason we don't I'd consider it worth the loss of income.

I work for feds and it causes much disruption and headaches. Even the threat requires us to start making contingency plans. Willing to make the sacrifice.
