The GOP are willing to kill CHIP to try and taint the Dems
They put a program that helps sick kids on the line in a game of political chicken hoping to force the Dems to cave. The Dems have asked for a program, DACA, that doesn't cost the feds a penny and adds to the tax paying base every year.
DACA actually saves DHS money by not chasing down law abiding residents.
